Join St. Johns County Fire Rescue’s Squad Company members in this intense HOT Class. A mayday on the fire-ground will create chaos; our reaction to it will determine the outcome. The data shows that the majority of maydays are rescued by interior crews. This 8 hour class will focus on interior crews mitigating the mayday along with utilizing outside RIT. Participants will acquire techniques in assessment/packaging, drags/carries, and victim removal. The afternoon will involve scenerios with real victims in a chaotic environment. This class will be physically demanding, and participants are urged to come prepared.
