Class Name: No Hose, No Problem. Searching ahead of the hose line
Description: This single day , aggressive live-fire program , builds strong search fundamentals with an emphasis on searching ahead of the hoseline. Expect data-driven search methods, civilian rescue techniques, and practical skills for packaging and moving both victims and downed firefighters safely and effectively.
Cadre: A 16-year student of the fire service, Chad has served in both career and volunteer houses and spent the last 9 years as Chief of a rural combination department. My leadership philosophy is simple and powerful: lead from the bottom up, lead by example, and never stop training.
As a cadre member with, High Desert F.O.O.L.S., and owner of Black Smoke Training, Chad has traveled nationwide instructing firefighters of all levels-and learning right beside them. The black smoke training cadre is stacked with hard charging Firefighters from all over who share the same passion for learning, and helping build aggressive firefighters.
Class Length: 8 hours
Student Needs: Full PPE, SCBA and Spare Cylinder
