Class Name: RIT from your Pocket
Description: 8 hour HOT Class that teaches you how to solve the most common fire ground emergencies using only what you carry. The class has a heavy emphasis on personal escape kit use for multiple RIT applications.
Cadre: Jason Ilowite is the owner and lead instructor for Bare Bones Rescue LLC. Jason is a Lieutenant assigned to a Heavy Rescue company in Loudoun County, VA within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Jason is an accomplished technical rescuer and holds a SPRAT level 3 certification. He is also an active instructor for the CMC Rescue School. Jason presented research on the use of meat anchors for fire ground rescues at the 2024 International Technical Rescue Symposium. His presentation was awarded the best overall, and best new research.
